Our test: three file types, one PDF
Mixing HEIC, PNG and WebP
We built one PDF from three very different files. There was a 40 KB iPhone HEIC photo, a 192 KB PNG chat screenshot (1080 × 2340) and an 80 KB WebP photo. Together they weighed 313 KB.
Notice that the best quality PDF was bigger than the three files together. PDF files store these pictures as JPG data, which is less compact than HEIC or WebP. If size matters, pick Smallest file. In our test it cut the PDF by more than half, and the screenshot text stayed easy to read.
Why use “Same as image” for screenshots?
Phone screenshots are tall and thin. On an A4 page they look tiny with lots of white space. The Same as image option makes each page the exact shape of its picture. Your screenshots fill the whole page. This makes them easier to read on a phone.
What happens to transparent PNG images?
PDF pages in this tool have a white background. Any see-through parts of a PNG or WebP image will show as white. Logos and icons still look clean on the page.
Only have JPG files? Our JPG to PDF converter keeps your original JPG data untouched for the best possible quality.
Supported image types

Frequently asked questions
Can I combine different image types in one PDF?
Yes. Add PNG, JPG, WebP and HEIC files together. Each one becomes its own page.
How do I convert iPhone photos to PDF?
Drop your HEIC photos into the box. The tool reads them directly. You do not need to change them to JPG first.
Is the image to PDF converter free?
Yes, it is free. You can make as many PDFs as you like, and none of them get a watermark.
Are my pictures safe?
Yes. The PDF is made inside your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server.
How many images can I add?
There is no fixed limit. Very long PDFs with large photos may be slow on older phones. If that happens, split them into two PDFs.
Why is my PDF bigger than my images?
PDFs store pictures as JPG data. HEIC and WebP are more compact formats. Choose Balanced or Smallest file to shrink it.

Final thoughts
Sometimes you have a messy mix of pictures. There might be a few screenshots, some iPhone photos and an image saved from a website. Converting each one by hand takes time. This image to PDF converter accepts them all at once. It puts them in the order you choose and gives you one tidy PDF to send or print.
Use Same as image for screenshots so they fill the page. Use A4 or Letter when you plan to print. Our test showed that Smallest file can cut a PDF by more than half while text stays readable. Best of all, your private screenshots and photos never leave your device.
